Jack White Sings the Polish Birthday Song to His Mother at a Warsaw Concert

Jack White proved that he's a mama's boy at heart during a show Tuesday night (October 9) in Warsaw, Poland.

The rockstar's mom, Teresa Gillis, was in attendance, and it just so happened to be her 88th birthday. White invited her onstage and led the crowd in singing “Sto lat,” the Polish birthday song, to celebrate the occasion in her home country of Poland. The 43-year-old took to Instagram after the show to post a photo of him and his mom onstage together. It's rare to see White smiling, but he's grinning from ear to ear in this picture.

Check out the heartfelt post below.

Although the guitar virtuoso is keeping himself plenty busy with solo material, it was recently announced that his indie supergroup the Raconteurs are working on their first new music in 10 years, starting with a reissue of their 2008 album Consolers of the Lonely, which will come with a special 7" that features two new songs from the band.

As if that wasn't enough, White also recently filmed a live concert documentary and has been flexing his philanthropist muscle by donating money to help renovate the house made famous by the iconic 1983 Francis Ford Coppola film, The Outsiders.
