Weezer Recruits Finn Wolfhard For Nostalgic "Take On Me" Video

Finn Wolfhard has quickly become the king of all things '80s, whether it be his role in Stranger Things, It, or most recently Weezer's video for their cover of a-ha's "Take On Me." The clip stars the 16-year-old as a young Rivers Cuomo. When his parents leave the house, he and his real life band Calpurnia take the opportunity to play as loud as they want in the living room. Wolfhard assumes the role of frontman, rocking some pretty epic metal hair. Aside from the nostalgic vibes, the visuals also pay homage to the original 1985 video, which jumps between live footage and pencil sketched animation, and features rotoscoped versions of the indie band's Wolfhard, Ayla Tesler-Mabe, Malcolm Craig, and Jack Anderson. At the end of the video, the young Cuomo sits down at his desk and draws Weezer's signature "W" on a piece of binder paper. The rest is history.
