MAX / I-84 Disruption Starts Sunday

A two-day disruption to the MAX Blue, Green and Red lines Sunday, June 8, through Monday, June 9, will lay the groundwork for a full renovation of the NE 82nd Ave MAX Station. During the disruption, crews will build a new stairway for riders to safely access a temporary MAX platform at the NE 82nd Ave MAX Station. During the disruption, shuttle buses will replace MAX trains between the Oregon Convention Center and Gateway/NE 99th Ave Transit Center.

This will coincide with a closure of I-84 westbound from midnight Sunday to 4 p.m. between I-205 to I-5 for graffiti removal.

Shuttle buses will serve closed stations on June 8-9, departing about every five minutes for most of the day. To read our news release about the disruption, visit our news page here
